Serenity Connections was established five years ago for the purpose of serving the community and the individual. We are devoted to helping individuals heal themselves either by Reiki , Tong Ren or a combination of both modalities. We offer comprehensive individual and group training in the Usui and Karuna Reiki® methods. We also offer individual Tong Ren Healing sessions either in person, via phone, and/or Group Guinea Pig Healing Classes.
Reiki Is
a Japanese technique used for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing at a cellular level allowing one to improve health, well being and wholeness. If our "life energy" is low, we are more apt to feel stress or get sick. However, if it is high, we are more capable of being happy , healthy and whole.
Reiki refers to the energy ( Universal Life Force Energy) and not to the specific techniques taught by Reiki Masters. The Usui techniques taught are those developed by Dr. Mikao Usui and is called the Usui System of Natural Healing.

A treatment feels like a warm, glowing radiance which flows through and around the client. Reiki begins to treat the mind, body, spirit and emotions creating a door to wholeness. Tong Ren Therapy
is a healing system that works in conjunction with a medical diagnosis and has had positive results with cancer and other difficult conditions.
Tong Ren energy healing was developed by Tom Tam , a licensed acupuncturist in Boston, MA , as a therapy for internally healing a patient's energy system by using the collective unconscious. In the winter of 2001, Tom successfully healed a client with lung cancer by using energy healing exclusively. After that, Tom set up a healing class for cancer patients and, at the same time, took the opportunity to train his students in this healing technique. By February 2002, the first healing class began. During the next three years, more than 2200 people attended the Tong Ren Group Healing classes. As of late, the class has drawn people with diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lyme Disease, RSD, and HIV/AIDS - to name just a few. People regularly come from other states and other countries to attend the healing class.
Tom has been awarded the highest honor of The Chinese Medical Research Association, the diamond pin and medal. He has also been made Honorary President of the Taipei Acupuncture Society.
